You may have heard that Rodney Mullen has recently put together the first skate video captured in perfect 360-degree footage. And, while that alone sounds pretty impressive, I am hear to tell you that this has the potential to be some of the coolest shit you will see in your life!

In case you didn’t grow up in the 90s or never played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Rodney Mullen is basically the godfather of modern skateboarding. Seriously. The dude invented the kickflip, heelflip, 360-flip – not to mention the freaking ollie! Without him, we would all still be pushing around on skateboards like a bunch of knuckle-headed cavemen.

Needless to say, Mullen is important to the sport. But beyond that, he is also hands down the most technical, intricate, and flat-out impressive flat ground skater of all time. He pulls of tricks that not only defy logic, but look like they belong in Swan freaking Lake.

See that? Can you even begin to comprehend the kind of balance and precision it takes to manipulate a skateboard like that? There is a high chance he is a wizard, for real.

Here are a few more, for good measure.

Mind totally blown? Well, get ready for the thunder! Cause what comes next is flat out lunacy.

And now that you have seen what might be the single most ambitious piece of skate footage in ever, it’s time to dust off your old board, get out in the driveway, and embarrass yourself in front of your neighbors trying to do a kickflip. Happy skating!
