As the weather starts to get warmer we tend to liven up our wardrobes a little bit. Put away your thick, heavy sweaters and coats and start to incorporate lighter colors and materials back into your everyday style. This season, why not try something new? Something you’ve never tried before. Here, we give you men’s fashion trends for Spring/Summer 2017 and  how you can incorporate them into your everyday wardrobe with ease.

Some of the Trends

Wide Leg Trousers

Getting out of jeans is always a nice change to the wardrobe as they give a completely different look. But when it comes to trousers, there are many different options from baggy fits to skinny silhouettes. Slim-fit trousers have been around for a while but wide legs are becoming more prominent. With comfort to boot, wide leg trousers offer you a relaxed, more freeing feel whilst keeping the style levels up. Team with a white button down and a pair of trainers for a great casual look.

Dress Up Your Sportswear

An everyday casual staple for many, sweatpants are the antithesis of comfortable and easy style; just make sure they aren’t full of holes and are swinging around your ankles. Joggers have had a revival; wear them with a formal white shirt and some dress shoes for a different yet effective look this season. This trend combines 2 elements, mixing formal and casual together and joggers, two birds with one stone.

Tonal Outfits

Going tonal isn’t a new concept, but it’s one that has come more apparent as we see ourselves stepping away from colour and opting for more minimal shades. Don’t go for the classic black as your everyday look, mix it up with all navy or grey, and maybe, for the summer, even all white.

You Don’t Have to Go Broke

Seriously though, making these new trends work is not about buying an entirely new wardrobe. We are not going from the grunge look to business professional. We are talking about adding some new versatile looks that can work with what you already have in your wardrobe.

For example, you probably already have joggers in the wardrobe, but now you can also just put a new shirt with it, or different shoes like loafers.  Plus you can also add some fancy shades (also not expensive), a new watch, some crazy socks, etc., you can add a few of these pieces to your closet and mix and match with your old clothes so you aren’t spending an arm and a leg to make it happen. Having a new style can make you feel like a new person, just try it out.
