Today on “Feeding the Beast with Dan Leith,” we learn how to prepare a “Recovery Bowl” – one of Dan’s favorite recipes. It’s something that all of his fighters really enjoy; particularly Cain Velazquez requests this one all the time.  It’s easy to prepare, nutrient dense and loaded with anti-oxidants which help our bodies deal with free radical damage.

Recovery Bowl Ingredients:


  • Raisins
  • Goji berries
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • ¼ cup Macadamia Nuts
  • 2 tbsps. Shaved Coconut
  • 2 tbsps. Chia Seeds
  • ¾ cup Kefir
  • Cinnamon
